Buying Cheap and Reliable Varifocal Glasses
Buying Cheap and Reliable Varifocal Glasses
Varifocal glasses offer any user a distinct advantage. Varifocal glasses have more than one power on their lenses and their invention came out of a necessity. Earlier when a patients, already suffering from an eye disorder (whether myopia or hyperopia) developed the age related vision problem called presbyopia, they had to carry two sets of glasses with them.

The innovation of bifocal glasses offered some ease as a patient could now didn’t need to carry two pairs of glasses. But it gave rise to the weight issue. As two different lenses were used, the weight of the frame increased, and coupled with that, the line passing at the centre of the lenses caused image-jumps.

Varifocal glasses have lenses which have more than two pairs. These cheap glasses are also known as progressive glasses, as the power of the lenses increase gradually from the top towards the bottom. Varifocal glasses have a gradually increasing power on their lenses, with the top part of the lenses having the lowest power and the maximum power at the bottom most part. When one has to look at objects at the distance, the upper part of the lenses is used. For purposes like reading or looking at close-by objects, one just has to look through the lower part. The intermediate part of the lenses can be used to view objects which are located at an average distance.

While buying cheap varifocal glasses, you must keep in mind your face structure. Though, these cheap glasses are available for in all the three frame styles, the choice of your pair of varifocal glasses is also depended on your face type. Generally, there are six different face shapes – round, oval, oblong, diamond, square and rectangular. Each type has its own set of advantages and drawbacks. Your selection of varifocal glasses should be in such a way that the frame design helps you to accentuate your best features while hiding the attributes you want to. The selection of colours, in turn, will be dependent on your skin tone, with warm tone leading to bright colours and vice versa.

The online stores dealing in prescription glasses have a huge range of cheap glasses covering all the designs and colours available. Using the advantages of the internet economies, these glasses online are available at incredibly cheap rates too.
