Various aspects about Prescription Glasses
Various aspects about Prescription Glasses
It has been a long time since the innovation of prescription glasses. Through all these centuries, ideas and impressions about these spectacles changed and new types evolved. But the most amazing change must be the acceptance of prescription glasses as a fashion accessory. Thanks to the endorsements by the celebrity icons and improvements by the designer brands, prescription glasses have become a favoured way to increase one’s fashion quotient.

There are various aspects of prescription glasses one is aware of, and there are some which are not. Knowledge of these facets will help you to know the prescription glasses, and in case you are planning to purchase one, will inevitably help you to decide.

The three basic shapes of prescription glasses are fully rimmed, semi rimmed and rimless. If you want to flaunt your prescription glasses with innovative designs and colours, then fully rimmed is the way to go. Semi rimless glasses, as the name suggests, will offer you the best of both fully rimmed and rimless glasses. And nothing can compare to the rimless glasses when it comes to comfort, because of their light-weight nature.

When selecting the lenses, you should know that there are single vision, bifocal and varifocal lenses. Single vision lenses have only one power throughout the lenses, while the bifocal lenses have the lenses divided into two. The upper half is used to see objects at a distance, while the lower half is used to view the nearby objects. Finally, varifocal lenses are the lenses which have different power on the lenses so that while changing power, the transition is gradual and smoother on the eyes. The middle part of the varifocal lenses is for watching objects at an intermediate distance. With the increasing use of computer glasses, the intermediate distance of the varifocal lenses have become really useful.

On both online stores and retail shops, you will find countless options of prescription glasses which flaunt the widest range of colours and designs. Naturally, you will come across many options on which you would like to put your hands on. But one must remember that not all designs suit everyone. Research shows that human face structures can be classified into six different types. Each face type gets complemented by a specific design of the prescription glasses, which accentuates the looks by hiding the flaws of that face structure. One must have an idea of one’s face type and the style of frames which will go with it before purchasing the prescription glasses.

Modern Designer Glasses make you look Unique
The increasing pace of life has left us taking less care of our health. As we all know, eyes are the most used organs of our body used incessantly as long as one is awake (in fact, the whole definition of ‘awake’ and ‘sleep’ is based on the condition of the eyes)....
